Rachel Gagliardo was a West Windsor - Plainsboro High School South graduate, where she was a four year varsity pitcher. In addition to pitching she also played first base. In her sophomore season she was named a member of the CVC Carpenter Cup team. After suffering an injury that took her out most of her junior season, Rachel fought her way back and in her senior year was named by the Princeton Packet Player of the Year. Throughout her high school career she learned the importance of being a good teammate and putting others before yourself. Rachel’s coaching career kicked off when she was out with a broken hand, she called pitches during games and worked one on one with the pitcher.
After an extremely successful high school career Rachel went on to attend Rowan University where she is currently a junior studying English education and Special Education. Rachel was a member of the Rowan Softball team for 3 years. During her time playing collegiate ball she attended the Division III World Series and came in third place. Rachel was a scholar athlete and was awarded Academic All-American.
In addition, Rachel gives private pitching lessons in the summer. Rachel looks forward to being a part of the Ninjas Staff.
